# Midjourney Describe

> Generate prompt descriptions from an image

Call `POST /v1/midjourney/generations/describe`. `image_urls` must contain at least one publicly accessible image URL. After the task succeeds, read the text from the `description` field of the [query response](./query); this action does not return a generated image.
